At Fatshark, we pride ourselves on providing a game that millions can enjoy. This is what we set out to do with Warhammer 40,000: Darktide to create a very engaging and stable game with a level of depth that will keep you playing for weeks, not hours.

We have failed to meet those expectations.

Over the next few months, our sole focus is to address the comments that many of you have. In particular, we will focus on introducing a complete crafting system, a more rewarding progression loop, and continue to work on game stability and performance optimization.

This also means that we will be delaying the launch of seasonal content and the launch of Xbox Series XIS. We will also be holding upcoming releases of luxury cosmetics. We could not continue on this path, knowing that we did not address many areas of feedback in the game today.

I didn’t think the PC version was that bad! It sure has had problems, but online games from smaller teams like this often do. Then again, small teams often don’t have the resources to do it everything at once, So if that’s what they want to do with what they’ve got, that’s what they’ll do with what they’ve got!
