Rowan Atkinson is making his TV comeback by starring in the new Netflix comedy Man Vs Bee as Father Trevor sits down with his mayhem rivalry with a bug.
In an exclusive first look at the new series, actor Mr. Bean, 67, is taunted by a pesky bumblebee and gets himself into endless trouble as he tries to defeat his opponent.

But Trevor is left out of his depths after being disturbed by an unwanted guest, and as he struggles to triumph over the bee, he not only injure himself but also destroys the £1 million home.
In the exclusive MailOnline segment, Rowan Trevor’s character is seen in court, where she is told by a judge that he has been found guilty of numerous offenses including dangerous driving, destruction of priceless artwork, and arson.
When asked if he had any last words, Trevor muttered: “You see… there was this bee…”
Viewers soon learn that Trevor has taken on the task of taking care of the house to convince his daughter that he wants to take him on vacation.
Trevor does his best to reassure the homeowners that “it’s all right” while they’re away, but after smashing expensive decorations, setting the kitchen on fire, and blowing up the garden, there’s no chance he’s left free of strokes.

Trevor does not escape unscathed, hitting his hand at a grand piano, hitting his knee with a hammer, and nearly hitting his car, causing him to scream at the bee: “Get down, get out, die!”
In this nine-part series, which will be available to stream on Netflix from June 24, Rowan returns to the small screen in an almost silent comedy reminiscent of his world hit, Mr. Bean.
The Blackadder actor created the show alongside screenwriter and producer Will Davies, with whom he last worked on Johnny English Reborn 2011.
Crazy Rich Asians star Jing Lucy, 37, stars alongside Roan, as well as Green Wing’s Julian Rend Tout, 54, and After Life actor Tom Basden, 42.

Cast: Tom Basden stars alongside Rowan in his first Netflix series appearance as a policeman, who is summoned to the luxurious mansion after being alerted to suspicious activity.
“Is everything all right? ”: Trevor tries to reassure the homeowners but after setting the kitchen on fire and blowing up the garden, there is no chance he will be released without any scratches.
Man Vs Bee is Rowan’s first series on Netflix, and his first in four years after Johnny’s last English film series.
The comedian, best known for Mr. Bean and Blackadder, and his roles in the Hollywood films Four Weddings and a Funeral and Love Actually, has amassed more than 129 million Facebook followers on Mr. Bean’s official page.
