Kylian Mbappe has agreed to personal terms with real madridAnd the athlete Understood.
The 23-year-old has yet to sign the papers with Real and Paris Saint-Germainhis current club, is still trying to convince him to change his mind.
Mbappe’s contract with French champions Paris Saint-Germain expires at the end of the season and he can move to Real Madrid for free in the summer.
Real have been very confident for a long time in Mbappe’s arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu and are just waiting for his signature, which they expect will come once the PSG season is over.
France international Mbappe is considered one of the best strikers in Europe. He scored 116 goals in 141 games for Paris Saint-Germain, having joined them in 2017 from Monaco, the club with which he made his debut.
Mbappe won the World Cup with France in 2018 and the Nations League in 2021. He has also won the French Ligue 1, five times since his debut in Monaco.
On an individual level, he was named Ligue 1 Player of the Year three times, was named to this season’s Champions League squad three times and was named Young Player of the Year at the 2018 World Cup.
Real won the Spanish league title this season and is in the Champions League final.
Mbappe was at the center of the transfer saga that Real Madrid participated in last summer. Madrid club made two offers for the French player, but they were ultimately unsuccessful in their quest.
He also scored two goals in two matches against Real in the Champions League round of 16 earlier this season but was unable to prevent Paris Saint-Germain from being eliminated.
Paris Saint-Germain coach Mauricio Pochettino spoke last month about Mbappe’s future and said the striker would be “100 per cent” at the club next season, as far as he knew at the time.
