Ray Fisherknown for his portrayal of the superhero Cyborg in Zack Snyder Justice Leaguea new co-chair is placed in DC James Gunn on the blast.
Fisher recalled a tweet where Gunn was apparently showing “support” to Joss Whedon after the actor accused him of creating a toxic work environment on set. Justice League.
“The way @JamesGunn uses fake grace on Twitter is really funny,” Fisher wrote on Twitter. “His going to bat for Joss Whedon, falsely apologizing for it, and then deleting it immediately prior to taking his new job in DC is not. Refusing to apologize for toxic behavior seems to be a requirement of working for WB/DC.”
Fisher’s comments come as Gunn took to Twitter Address the backlash he received Some fans are excited about the decisions he and Peter Safran make about the DC Universe.
In screenshots shared by Fisher, Gunn apologizes to him for liking a tweet that defended Whedon. Fisher also shared another screenshot that showed the tweet has now been deleted.
The comments on Fisher’s tweet cause fans to remind him that Gunn has an auto-delete feature on his Twitter account where old tweets are deleted after a certain time. back in 2018, Gunn was fired from Guardians of the Galaxy Via previous offensive tweets.
Gunn responded to Fisher explaining the feature on Twitter adding, “All my tweets get auto-deleted every few months, Ray, it has nothing to do with my tweets to you.”
