“I would be terrified.”

"I would be terrified."

There are few greater joys than boarding a board airplane And discovering that the seat next to you is empty. But what if you have a full airplane to yourself?

It’s called a “ghost trip,” and a man recently found himself in a rather strange and spooky scenario after booking a trip to Fiji to celebrate his birthday.

According to the now viral TikTokpublished on January 16, the trip took place in January 2022. That was when (@tweet) arrived at Sydney Airport in Australia, only to be greeted by a ghost town as soon as he reached its gate.

It’s not like Allen booked a low-budget airline to get there – he was flying Virgin and booked a business class ticket, so his trip would be very luxurious. Little did he know that he might have been able to save money because the entire plane was at his disposal.

“When I got on board, they were like, ‘You’re the only one, you’re the only one on the plane,'” Allen says in the video.

At one point the captain came over to sit and chat with him and throughout the trip the staff kept passing by to check in and offered him “whatever he wanted”.

In other words, Allen was living his best life on the four-and-a-half-hour ride.

“I like, literally, having the whole plane to myself,” he laughs as the camera pans to show how empty the flight is. “I’m VIP!”

In the comments, many people thought about how they would react in his shoes.

“This is literally an introvert’s dream!” one person wrote. “That’s me. I’m an introvert lol.”

“You have the toilet to yourself!” someone else shouted.

Another user added, “This must have been very sick.”

A few people said they would feel weird about it, though.

“My anxiety can never…” one person admitted.

“How lonely would that be?” someone else said.

“I would have lost Empty Fate to think that I had the wrong gate!” Someone else shared it.

Allen had a similar initial reaction, writing, “It was scary at first, but amazing after that” in his caption.

Believe it or not, quite a few people have shared similar experiences on other trips.

“This happened to me on a flight from Japan to Australia,” one person wrote. “Seriously. I was the only person on the plane.”

Another person said, “That was exactly what happened when I flew to Dubai, but we were two.” “We gathered and talked through it.”

In the end, Allen’s wonderful trip got better when he went to baggage claim and promptly found his bag with no problem.

The trip itself was sweet too. In several follow-up videos, the TikToker He shared views from his hotel in Fiji, where the staff treated him like a king on his birthday, and he relaxed in the pool most of his stay.

“I had a wonderful trip, as I always do when I go to Fiji,” Allen wrote in one of his writings. Tik Tok captions. “There is so much to do and the resorts are all beautiful!”
