Courteney Cox Comfortable in her skin. In fact, the friends The star is looking forward to turning sixty.
“I feel young. I have a lot of friends in their thirties and I don’t even think about it,” Cox told Sunday times.
Of course, that doesn’t mean it’s not hard to believe that she’ll turn her sixties in just a few years.
“Oh my God, it’s so hard to hear or say. I can’t believe it,” said Cox, who stars in the new comedy and horror TV series. shining val. “There’s nothing wrong with being 60, I can’t believe it. Time goes by so fast. There’s no doubt that I’m more grounded, I’ve learned a lot in my life – what I enjoy, what to do the most and what to let go of. “
One of the things that Cox gave up on were some cosmetic procedures that made her look “fake.” In a 2017 interview with new beautyCox explained why she had her facial fillings dissolved, and “learned to embrace” her real face. Now, she says, she’s more at peace with aging.
“There was a time when you’d go, ‘Oh, I’m changing.’ I am looking for older people. And I tried to chase it [youthfulness] for years,” she said Sunday times. “And I didn’t realize that, oh***, I actually look really weird with injecting and doing things to my face I would never have done now.”
Cox said she realized that people were talking about her, and it led to a period where she realized, “I have to stop. This is just crazy.”
Still, Cox said suffering from middle age is a little weird, which she said is a bit unbelievable about how quickly time has gone by.
“Obviously I can relate to being at that age where you’re like, ‘Oh, wow, I can’t believe I’m here,’ and [asking] She said, “What makes you happy. I totally understand the middle age stuff.”
One of the things Cox didn’t experience while growing up was the pressures of social media, which sees her as a busy mother to 17-year-old Coco, her daughter with ex-husband David Arquette. She is well aware that Coco has hundreds of thousands of followers on Instagram who watch her every move. However, it is not her favorite subject.
“I don’t like that she has them,” Cox said. “It’s a strange feeling to me. What do people relate to?”
