Austin Riley makes Braves a silly catch that leaves Phillies stunned

Atlanta Braves All-Star Austin Riley is mostly known for his racket, but he shone his skin in a big way during Game 2 of the NLDS that left the Philadelphia Phillies speechless.

At the top of the eighth inning, Phillies Bryson Stott A fly ball skated into a foul area below the third baseline which was looking to be just a hit.

But Riley rode his horse, sprinted down the line and tracked the ball all the way. There was a Truist Park tarp leaning against the wall holding the big net to protect the fans and Riley was heading straight for it.

When the ball fell, Riley extended his glove and rolled over his shoulder causing the brave believers to scream in astonishment.

Stott even looked at the Jumbotron to see exactly what had happened, while Velez’s bunker was dumbfounded by the whole situation they saw play out.

The brave would end up tying the chain in a one-by-one game, and Riley’s bat before his gauntlet helped make the web’s play gem on the field.

He hit a softball to pitcher Zach Wheeler making a one shot, and Dansby Swanson scored from third base. He finished the night 1 for 4.

All of the Braves’ runs came at the bottom of the sixth inning, with Matt Olson leading in the first round of the game, while Travis Darno scored another after Riley.

The Braves crew only managed to get the Phillies to score three strokes after scoring seven runs in Tuesday’s win.

Kyle Wright took the win for Atlanta after his six innings of action, but it was loyal Raisel Iglesias who tip his hat to Riley after his miraculous takeover.
